We purchased the manual in 2003 before we knew anything about affiliate marketing. And aren't we glad we did. This manual was just what we needed to get started in this business and is the reason why we are still in this business today. The manual is extremely detailed and easy to read and understand. Although all the detail is there, the manual doesn't get too technical. James himself admits that he is not into the technical stuff. It's almost like reading a dummies guide - it explains everything you need to know and how to do it in simple laymans terms. Don't get me wrong, this isn't just a simplified version of affiliate marketing. This is an in-depth guide that covers absolutely everything you will ever need to develop a fully functioning website from start to finish. And James doesn't stop there, he goes on to tell you how to get that site ranking in the search engines. In just eight steps, James takes you through the complete process of suceeding in the affiliate business. The steps include: Step 1: How to get and stay organized Step 2: Finding the right topic for you! Step 3: Keywords are building blocks Step 4: Ladies and Gentlemen - Choose Your Template Step 5: Building Winning Websites Step 6: Add Keyword Focused Content Step 7: Affiliate Programs + AdSense = Profits Step 8: Building Traffic from Multiple Sources The manual also includes video tutorials, a great bonus resource where James actually takes you through various steps within the manual. This is great for those that need to see things in action. The beauty about James Martell is that he has done it all before and knows what works and what doesn't. He knows whether Google ads are better sited at the top right hand corner or at the bottom of a webpage or whether the hyperlinks on your site should be in the regular blue or should blend in to match the color of your site. James has been through the ups and downs of the affiliate business, including the dot.com crash, but he has lived to tell the tale and build a successful business. The manual would have to be one of the better ones out there today. As yet I haven't seen anyone go through the detail in a step-by-step fashion like James does. Even if you are a complete beginner and are not that computer savvy you will still be able to manage quite easily to acquire a good income if you follow the detailed ' baby' steps. If you want to work at home and enjoy working with a computer then this is the manual for you. This is not a get quick rich scheme - those days are pretty much gone but you can suceed with this method and make a healthy income if you follow his steps. He is honest in that he never pushes his methods as a quick way of making money. Instead in his manual he indicates that "you won't see revenues for three to four months. And it usually starts as a trickle, then builds to a steady pace as your rankings mature and bookmarked visitors return." He goes on to say: "Yet, many of my students are reporting much faster results because of the new techniques I teach on establishing inbound links for optimal rankings." We highly recommend the James Martell Handbook. If you are a complete beginner this is a definite must. But even if you are a veteran you will learn a lot of useful techniques that will boost your rankings and bring more traffic into your site particularly in the area of developing inbound links.
