Squidoo is a great place to start and you are doing everything the right way. A lot of people just go into this business for the sole purpose of making money so they jump into things and then realise it really wasn’t the right way to go.

I keep wanting to start a wordpress blog and do niche product reviews, but I just can’t seem to bite the bullet and get started. There’s SO much information all over the internet on what to do and how to do it, that the task seems daunting. And I’m not sure what niche to pick. I’ve started with some simple pages over on Squidoo, mostly because it’s free. I figure I can test the waters in different niches for free and when I find something that strikes a chord with me, then maybe I’ll start my blog.

The blog post is more for people who have been blogging for a while not for those who are new to blogging. Even so, you don’t need to have an amateurish looking site when there are literally thousands of free themes and templates available. The template you are looking at now is a free WordPress theme.

I also didn’t mention anything about paying someone to develop a template for you. I was simply referring to simple changes like adding a header correctly for instance. These types of changes shouldn’t cost much at all especially if you hire someone from Rentacoder.com.

I am a bit anxious about number 5. But isn’t our new websites supposed to look amateurish? I mean it is kinda hard to hire someone else to do templates for us and everything not mentioning the costs. But I agree that ads cluttering could mean disaster.
