Just Loving Life
As I am writing this I can hear a multitude of birds outside my window. My computer is set up in a postition whereby with just a slight turn of my head I can see the trees outside and hear the little sparrows chattering away to each other. It sounds like a party going on out there with what looks like at least 20 or 30 of them jumping from branch to branch. Goodness knows what they are saying to each other but it sounds like a group of old ladies at a quilting bee with no one able to get a word in.
It won’t be long and my two dogs will pick up on the chatter and run outside and scare them all off but for the moment they are too content playing inside and making a mess of my carpet with dirty paw prints.
Now there is silence…and the chattering has stopped. Who knows what has silenced them – maybe the grandaddy of sparrows has had enough and told all the youngins to quieten down. Or maybe they are discussing where to head off to next. Who really cares.. I am just having fun watching and enjoying the fact that I am at home, working from my computer…just loving life!
Note: I wrote the above blog post some time ago for one of my other blogs. I transferred it here as I felt it was more appropriate as it just shows the joys of working from home.

Gee I don’t feel so guilty now I know someone else enjoys the similar benefits of working from home. I sit in similar position and my backyard is like a bird aviary without the wires. I’ll admit to occassionally feeding the birds but most of the time they just come to enjoy my backyard.
Today I had a couple of bush turkeys come for a visit but the resident mapies weren’t happy about that. Only downside to my aviary is that the birds think that my back window has no barriers as well. I’ve given up cleaning it (good excuse) but they still try to fly through it. Most survive as I’ve only has one fatal in last couple of years.
We sure are blessed to live such a life.

I’ve had a couple try to fly through the window as well. Fortunately both survived but I am sure they would have left with a bit of a headache.
